Melbourne Health BI Engagement
Melbourne Health have engaged Health IQ to augment their Business Intelligence
resources prior to their HealthSMART i.PM go-live in November 2009.
Using Health Central as the new foundation for information, Health IQ is working
closely with Melbourne Health to analyse the organisation's comprehensive information requirements.
The development of data solutions during this project will help to ensure a smooth PAS transition.

Loddon Mallee HealthSMART Project Integration
The Loddon Mallee Rural Health Alliance (VIC) has selected Health IQ to partner
in meeting all integration requirements for their HealthSMART i.PM implementation across more than 20 hospitals.
The engagement builds on Health IQ's track record with the Bendigo Health Connect project and
the proven Health IQ Java CAPS architecture will provide a foundation for integration between an expansive application diaspora.

Outpatient Barcoding Integration Project in Queensland
Redcliffe Hospital will pilot a project to manage Outpatient queues using barcode
scanners at client facing kiosks.
Based on its track record in QLD and reputation in the integration realm, Health IQ
was chosen to integrate the systems for this project.
The pilot is likely to expand statewide if anticipated savings in staff
labour and patient queueing space are realised.

for simplifying health information for management reporting.
Combining data from the HealthSMART (Vic DHS) i.PM PAS installation and the imminent Symphony Emergency Department system,
modules that will be installed at Melbourne Health are:

Royal Brisbane Hospital Upgrade to Patient Flow Manager
Royal Brisbane Hospital have committed to Health IQ's Patient
Flow Manager solution, improving their ability to manage hospital access and
intake following implementation in the second half of 2009.

Eastern Health has upgraded Bed Manager to Health IQ's Patient
Flow Manager solution, providing an extensive range of new functionality.

Health IQ to Maintain VICNISS SHIINE APPLICATION
The VICNISS Hospital Acquired Infection Surveillance System
is the state-wide coordinated hospital acquired infection surveillance program
in Victorian acute public hospitals.
VICNISS has confirmed Health IQ as its preferred supplier
with the ongoing development and support of the SHIINe application for Victoria-wide
collection
and reporting of Infection Control information.

Southern Health Purchase Health Central for Data Warehousing
Southern Health go live with HealthSMART i.PM
in November 2009 and will become the third Victorian public health network
to use Health Central as the Data Warehouse for simplifying Health
Information.
In addition to deploying Health
IQ's integration and report development expertise, Southern Health
have engaged Health IQ's Data Warehousing solution to
simplify Management Reporting.
Health
IQ is working closely with Southern Health to meet their comprehensive
requirements for Business Intelligence, Management
and Operational Reporting.
Northern Health and Peninsula
Health have already seen the benefits of a consolidated data source
for defining a simple path through the
complex data mazes of health systems.

Patient Flow Manager's DASE Functionality Will Potentially Save Millions
New functionality around analysis of Separation Events
at Hospitals has enbled the first implementation at Princess Alexandra
Hospital to save the organistaion over $2M in the first
year of use.
DASE analysis has been developed in conjunction with
Queensland Health and is included in the Health IQ Patient Flow Manager
solution.

Health IQ selected for Eastern Cerner Clinical Integration
Project
In partnership with Sun Microsystems, Health IQ has been
engaged by Eastern Health (VIC) to provide the systems
integration infrastructure
and services as part of the HealthSMART Cerner
Clinicals
project.
Health IQ's extensive and proven Health Integration experience and expertise
will enable the integration from PAS, Radiology and Pathology
systems to Cerner Millenium using Java CAPS technology and
HL7 messaging.

Southern Java CAPS 24 x 7 Managed Service
Southern Health has contracted Health IQ to take full
responsibility of JavaCAPS under a comprehensive Managed
Service.
In conjunction with its HealthSmart
initiatives and other new applications, Southern Health
is upgrading its existing integration to
a JavaCAPS environment.
Java CAPS went live in December 2008 as part of the
Symphony ED System. All other applications will gradually
be transferred to Java CAPS.

was an enjoyable day unearthing previously untapped
talents and five artworks reflecting the company's values.

Eye and Ear Select Health IQ As Integration Partner
Health IQ has been
selected as the key partner for all systems integration by
the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital.
The Eye and Ear are in the pilot group for the HealthSMART
Cerner Clinicals
project, upgrading to i.PM 1.86 and comprehesively rebuilding
their integration infrastructure.
Health IQ's architectural framework and extensive and proven JCAPS and
Integration experience were key to the selection that
requires integration between PAS, Radiology, Pathology
and Pharmacy systems to Cerner Millenium and between each
other.

Bendigo Health Select Sun/Health IQ for HealthConnect Integration
Health IQ have partnered with Sun Microsystems to provide integration services
for Bendigo Health's flagship e-health HealthConnect project.
Data from a number of source systems is being collated
using HL7 messaging through JCAPS to deliver community information
within Bendigo Health and to primary care providers.

Bendigo Health selects HEALTH IQ for Health Connect Initiative
Bendigo Health is running a flagship project
under the Federal Department of Health and Ageing national
e-health initiative. Their aim is to collate
data from a number of sources to deliver community information
internally and to primary care providers.
The solution will be delivered using Technical Project Management
and Integration Services from Health IQ in combination with services
and products from Sun Microsystems and iSoft.

Systems Integration for Southern Health's (Vic) HealthSmart Project to be provided by Health IQ
Southern Health, the largest public hospital network in Victoria,
has contracted Health IQ to redevelop and migrate all systems
interfaces based on the Java CAPS Integration Engine and HL7
messaging.
Health IQ brings its extensive and proven
Health Integration expertise, supported by its Sun Microsystems Health Partnership.
Health IQ has full responsibility for delivery of the
software to Southern Health as they decommission the existing
Integration Engine and implement the iSoft iPM PAS Application
under the DHS HealthSMART initiative and migrate their integration
to Java CAPS.
Health IQ is, in effect, the integration arm of Southern
Health.
