VICNISS chooses Health IQ to integrate and implement their Statewide Infection Control System


The VICNISS Hospital Acquired Infection Surveillance System is the state-wide coordinated hospital acquired infection surveillance program in Victorian acute public hospitals.

VICNISS has chosen Health IQ as its preferred supplier to develop, roll out and support the Victoria-wide information collection and management requirements of its SHIINe application.

Health IQ's extensive and proven Health Integration experience and expertise enable the integration of infection data from PAS, Theatre and Pathology systems using Java CAPS technology and HL7 messaging.

Reporting Managed Service solutions purchased by Southern Health and Western Health (Vic)


Southern Health and Western Health are large public health providers that go live with the i.PM Patient Administration System under the HealthSmart program in 2009.

To prepare for the transition to new systems, both organisations have outsourced operational and management report development to HEALTH IQ.

HEALTH IQ will draw on its repository of IP and many years' experience and expertise to fulfil the complex reporting requirements of each of its partners.

Bendigo Health selects HEALTH IQ for Health Connect Initiative


Bendigo Health Care Group is running a flagship project under the Federal Department of Health and Ageing national e-health initiative. Their aim is to collate data from a number of sources to deliver community information internally and to primary care providers.

The solution will be delivered using Technical Project Management and Integration Services from HEALTH IQ in combination with services and products from Sun Microsystems and iSoft.

Systems Integration for Southern Health's (Vic) HealthSmart Project to be provided by Health IQ


Southern Health, the largest public hospital network in Victoria, has contracted HEALTH IQ to migrate and redevelop its systems interfaces based on the Java CAPS Integration Engine and HL7 messaging.

HEALTH IQ brings its extensive and proven Health Integration expertise, supported by its Sun Microsystems Health Partnership.

Health IQ has full responsibility for delivery of the software to Southern Health as they decommission the existing Integration Engine and implement the iSoft iPM PAS Application under the DHS HealthSMART initiative and migrate their integration to Java CAPS.

Northern Health (Vic) engages Health IQ for Reporting Managed Services


Northern Health was the first Victorian hospital to go live with the i.PM Patient Administration System under the HealthSmart program.

Operational and management reporting requirements are complex in this new environment. Having chosen the HEALTH IQ CENTRAL Data Warehousing solution to simplify Management Reporting, Northern Health also recognised the need for expertise in Operational Reporting.

Health IQ has worked extensively with reporting and data extraction from PAS and other health reporting systems, and looks forward to developing a Managed Service partnership with Northern Health's commitment .

Princess Alexandra hospital goes live with Bed Manager 8.4


The Princess Alexandra Hospital is one of three tertiary level Hospitals in Queensland, providing care in all major adult specialities, with the exception of obstetrics, and one of Australia's leading teaching and research hospitals. It has over 700 beds available which require efficient systems to manage.

Princess Alexandra and HEALTH IQ worked together to implement a Patient Flow solution  with the use of HEALTH IQ's Bed Manager application.

PR Integration Changes Name to HEALTH IQ


Over the last ten years, PR Integration has built a strong reputation as an IT services organisation in a number of business sectors, predominantly health. In order to capitalise on the wealth of health knowledge and experience accumulated during this time, and maximise the value of our services, we have decided to focus all our future activities on health. Now, we are changing our name to reflect this.

From 1 September 2007, the company will be known as Health IQ. This name change signals both our renewed focus and our clear intention to build, develop and support quality IT solutions in the health sector. We will continue to expand our specialist resource base by proactively recruiting professionals with clinical and administrative health experience. Over the next ten years, we aim to build a level of health expertise unparalleled in the Australian IT industry and use this to bring real IQ to health IT. We look forward to working with you on this journey.

Peninsula Health purchases HEALTH IQ Central - A Data Warehousing solution

HEALTH IQ is working very closely with Peninsula Health to assist in continuing to meet their comprehensive Operational and Management Reporting requirements following their Go Live for iPM in September 2007.

HEALTH IQ Central is a Data Warehouse that simplifies Health Information. It defines a simple path through the complex data maze that is Health Information, providing key requirements for all hospitals.
