Paul HirstCEO

Paul is the lead on Business Intelligence Strategy development and implementation, having worked in many areas of health including business intelligence, risk management and cancer research.

Paul has a Master of Science and a Grad Dip in Health Informatics and has worked at several prestigious institutions including Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, St Vincent’s and Mercy Private Hospital, MidCentral District Health Board and Massey University .

Paul PhelanPrincipal Consultant

Paul has over 20 years’ Health IT experience and has implemented management information systems in several Australian hospitals.

Paul has a strong technical and business understanding of hospital systems and is one of the leading Java CAPS solution consultants.

He has a Bachelor of Applied Science (IT) and has worked for several Health IT providers including AWA and McDonnell Douglas Information Systems.

Paul is a founding director of Health IQ.

Dave Piggott Principal Consultant

With over 20 years in Health IT, Dave has extensive experience implementing management information systems in Australian hospitals.

More recently Dave has worked extensively in the Patient Flow area and is the Product Manager for Health IQ’s Patient Flow Manager. Dave has very strong integration skills. Dave also works on the Java CAPS solutions.

He has a Masters in Open Systems (IT) and has worked for several Health IT providers including AWA and McDonnell Douglas Information Systems.

Dave is a director of Health IQ.

Dani Phelan CFO

Danielle has extensive financial expertise. While at Health IQ she has worked as both CFO and Finance Manager. Her multidisciplinary experience in financial and tax consulting, small business assurance and advisory services, makes a significant contribution to both the quality and professionalism of the services we offer.

Prior to working at Health IQ she worked as a consultant and manager in Business Services for Duesburys and Deloittes. Danielle has been a qualified Chartered Accountant since 1990.

Craig Halliday Sales Manager

Craig has been solving clients’ challenges within the healthcare arena for over 13 years. He has worked across multiple of technologies but more recently he has specialised in health informatics. His business acumen and strategic thinking allows for creative informed solutions when managing your health information data flow.

Craig has worked for organisations such as Lanier, Agfa Health, Stryker and iSoft.
