August 2011 HISA Award for Health IQ Solution

Redcliffe Hospital's outpatient management solution won the HISA Don Walker Award for Efficiency.

The winning presentation by Kristy Brown and Adele Collins outlined the Queue Manager solution, which has improved Outpatient Department efficiency and appointment attendance rates, optimised funding and increased patient and staff satisfaction.

The solution was developed as a partnership between Redcliffe Hospital, Health IQ and Barcode Dynamics.

June 2011 Queue Manager live in two more Queensland hospitals

The outpatient barcoding system developed by HIQ has been rolled out at two more Queensland hospitals.

Mackay Base Hospital and Caboolture Hospital join Redcliffe Hospital in using the system to automatically guide Outpatients to waiting areas and validate credentials upon the scanning of an appointment letter.

Queue Manager results in a 67% reduction of "did not waits" as well as significant time savings for staff.

May 2011 Southern Health go live with Messenger

Southern Health went live with Health IQ's GP Notification solution in May.

Messenger aggregates hospital information and sends notifications to primary carers.

April 2011 Melbourne Health select Health IQ for Primary Carer Communications

Health IQ’s Patient Flow Messenger product has been chosen to deliver communications to GP’s and other Primary Carers of hospital patients.

The product can notify patients and carers of Waiting List entries, Emergency Attendances, Inpatient Admissions as well as providing Discharge Notifications.

August 2010 Health Central Data Warehouse goes state-wide in Tasmania

The first state-wide Health Central deployment has been commissioned by DHHS Tasmania.

Health Central will be used to aggregate and simplify data for state reporting requirements, KPI measurement and to provide hospital management information.

July 2010 Patient Flow Manager at Bendigo Health and Royal Hobart Hospital

Bendigo Health and Royal Hobart recently joined a select group of very happy customers when they implemented Health IQ's Access and Intake product, Patient Flow Manager.
